So, baseball/tball ended about three weeks ago, but since then there hasn't been a day that goes by that I don't think how glad I am that it is over. It really consumed our life. For the last 2 1/2 months we spent most of our evenings at the ball park. Chase and Ciera really enjoyed it and will probably want to play again next year. I need to start thinking of a good excuse now so that we won't have to sign up again! As much fun as it was :) I am so glad to have my family and routine back again. It is great not to have to rush my evenings away. Now, we are on to tennis rushing our mornings away... will I ever learn!!!

i couldn't agree more! we made tanner retire from his baseball career after two seasons. we've found that indoor activities are much more enjoyable for us all :) why don't they all just want to take piano lessons??
by the way, i'm sooo happy you are blogging!
After tennis, Gin, you'll sign them up for swimming or gymnastics or horseback riding or something else.
I do the same thing, too. It's selective memory, and it's also responsible for women getting pregnant over and over and over. Why don't we remember how awful it is?
Lucky kids!!
I'm not really looking forward to all the lessons... Jadon's not really old enough yet, but I'm sure he'll be asking soon anyway.
So fun, I know, but so much time. What is a mom to do if she wants her kids to get active, but not have the sport demand too much of your time? I'll wait for your words of wisdom.

Teaghan's doing tennis these next six weeks, something through the park and rec district. Hopefully she'll like it, but it's more to give her something to do. The scheduling never seems to end!! At least so far for me. I've yet to experience NOTHING. BTW, thanks for the tomato plant. Can't wait to plant it and see how it does. I'm just REALLY hoping I don't kill it!!! I kill everything.(torturous whisper)
Hey Ginnie,
I am glad you sent me your blog address this is fun! I hope your summer is fun even though it's busy! It's all worth it because they will soon pick what they want to do and it will settle down A LITTLE! But remember they only have 18 years with you and then they are gone. What else were you going to do at night? Laundry? You'll always have laundry!
